Chocolate Nests

I made these for an Easter chocolate treat. They were pretty fast and easy... just kinda messy.

What you will need:

  • 3        Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1        package (10 ounce) mini marshmallows
  • 1/2     cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 6        ounces semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2        cups thin chow mein noodles
  • 1 1/2  cups square corn cereal, such as Corn Chex
  • 2        cups crispy rice cereal, such as Rice Krispies
  • 1        package of mini robin egg Whoppers
(Makes about 20 nests)

Spray 2 cupcake pans with cooking spray, such as Pam

Melt the butter in a large sauce pan.

Once melted, add the marshmallows, peanut butter, and chocolate chips.

Stir continuously until completely melted and blended. (the pic makes it look red, but really it was brown)

Remove pan from the heat and sir in the cow mein noodles, corn cereal and rice cereal.

Allow the mixture to cool until safe to handle.

Shape balls of mixture into a nest shape and press into cupcake pan.

Place about 3 Whoppers in each nest.

And there you have it: an easy perfect little Easter treat!

Tuna Can Flower Pot

This is a super easy and super cute craft... good Mother's Day gift!
What you need for this is:
Tuna fish can (5 oz can)
Clothes Pins
Small plant for flower

All you have to do is clip the clothes pins all the way around the sides

Then find a plant or flower and place in your new planter. I got mine at Home Depot. I was originally going to plant crocuses, since they're my favorite flower, but due to our sudden hot weather a few weeks ago, my favorite flower came and went in a week.
